ASA is a French mark of monitor enclosures designed and manufactured without compromise in Royan (Charente Maritime).
Our goals are simple: to choose and implement the best components, then to assemble them according to our criterias in completely inert cabinets.

Physical rules and the materials used point out their limits constantly to us. We design our enclosures being concerned of never approaching them.
Thanks to very weak tolerances, meticulous controls at each stage of the manufacturing, and the rigour which chairs the design; the loudspeakers work in a homogeneous way, where their ease is maximum.
They are selected in the most prestigious ranges of the best world manufacturers. Materials, diameters and the shapes of the membranes are selected for the naturalness of their restitution, their speed and their dynamic capacity.
We make carry out some on schedule of conditions, just like an important part of the components of the filtering.
For this last, the way of the signal must be shortest and simplest.
Simplicity is a difficult and rare thing. Years of research, primarily guided by listening, were necessary to us to develop filters switching perfectly the frequencies, without deteriorating the signal, with a perfect respect of the phase. The filter is oversized and insaturable.
The boxes are entirely built  in high density medium wood of 25 mm or in massive Ovangkol of 32 mm. Any colouring from the cabinet is thus removed.
The sawn timber boxes are asymmetrical, neutralizing the standing waves completely.
The loudspeakers and the vent are gathered and laid out on the front face in a particular manner to perfect the setting in phase.
All the angles are removed (no edge effect), the fabric frontages are separated from the baffle.
All contributes to an alive reproduction, as similar as posible to the input signal, without deformation, colouring, distortion or compression, with a real respect of the phase.
Precision, promptness, transparency and realistic dynamic capacity characterize our enclosures.

All our models are proposed in passive versions, and are used in the largest studios as by the most demanding amateurs, associated with the most prestigious electronic systems, with which they are able to deliver an astounding of clearness musical message, balanced and realistic.

For our active models, we use the same elements to which we add the Gemincore D class powerboards, that we feed to develop an effective power of 90 W \ 8 Ohms.
ASA and Gemincore share a number of concepts which chair the implementation of their products: Work in an equal way on the broadest possible band-width, through innovating diagrams, simplest and shortest, systematic tracking of any colouring, saturation or compression.
This association is worthy of the most beautiful listenings carried out with external amplifiers.
Qualities of sonority, transparency, intelligibility of complex signals, image and coherence of phase, which made the reputation of our monitors, are all exploited with smoothness and elegance. The solidity in the low register is incredible regarding to the volume of the enclosure. Dynamic is exceptional.
